WHOLE HOUSE SYSTEMS

No Electric – Kinetico systems are driven and metered by water pressure, regardless of well water or municipal water source. By eliminating electric timing processors and utilizing a non-electric, water pressure driven metered-demand valve system Kinetico has been able to remove timers, solenoids, and most metal moving parts that deteriorate over time and usage in the electrical systems.

The non-electric design has the following benefits:

• The Kinetico Systems meter the number of gallons treated. Each system is individually geared to regenerate / self-clean based on specific gallons treated by the system. This eliminates the arbitrary cleaning cycles inherit to electrical systems. Thus the Kinetico Systems use approximately ¼ the regenerants and ½ the water that electrical systems use to clean themselves. This translates into lower operating costs for Kinetico Systems.
  
• By eliminating electric timers, solenoids and metal moving components (approximately 90% reduction) Kinetico Systems operate longer with dramatically fewer parts and repair issues. Thus Kinetico provides a 10 year warranty on its Whole House Systems and a 7 year warranty on its Drinking Water Systems. Electric Systems generally carry a 1 to 5 year warranty on Whole House Systems and a 1 to 3 year warranty on their Drinking Water Systems.
• Our systems do not require special “guest settings” or “vacation settings” since Kinetico Systems regenerate based on actual gallons treated, not based on electrical timers.
• Kinetico Systems require no electrical connection so your homes’ electrical wires are never disturbed.

Twin Tank Design – Kinetico designs their systems with two tanks, not one tank as most electric systems are designed. The Kinetico valve automatically switches between its two tanks at the beginning of each regeneration cycle. This feature eliminates untreated water entering your home during the regeneration cycle. Thus the Kinetico Systems provide 24/7 uninterrupted treated water. Additionally Kinetico Systems provide clean water from the operating tank to the tank that is cleaning during the regeneration / cleaning cycle. Thus Kinetico Systems clean in a shorten period of time and use less water and regenerants because they clean with treated water, not contaminated water.

Kinetico’s Moving Parts – Our moving parts never come in contact with anything but clean, de-chlorinated, soft water within the valve. Thus Kinetico valves experience far less wear over their lifetime.

Counter-Current Regeneration – Kinetico Systems are designed to regenerate in the opposite direction that they treat your water. This eliminates contaminant buildup at the top or the bottom of the system tanks. This also eliminates compacted filtration / conditioning media in the tanks that may hinder system effectiveness.

Fiberglass Wrapped and Sealed Tanks – Kinetico goes the extra step to wrap their tanks with fiberglass to provide extended tank life.

NSF & WQA Certified – Kinetico is the only US manufacturer that has received dual certification on a “systems” basis for their entire residential product line from the two primary certification bodies. No other manufacturer has dual certification. Many manufacturers may have their components approved, but not certified as a complete system as Kinetico does.

Patented Seals – The Kinetico Valve Head is sealed with patented seals that eliminate leaks from the system valve.

Brass free, Lead free – Kinetico Systems do not corrode since they are made with corrosion resistant materials. This is not true with all electrical systems.

1.25 Inch Port Sizes – Our valves contain oversized Port outlets / inlets to reduce water friction drag and potential clogging.

Warranty Transferability – Kinetico Systems and their warranties are transferable if you chose to move with your system or if you sell your system with your home sale. This is not the case with electrical systems.
